Breaking news in the NCFL
The NCFL capped off the Inaugural Season with their year end meeting in South San Francisco this past weekend. In that meeting the NCFL did some major house cleaning as it officially ended it's affiliation with five of it's teams. The Oakland Vipers, Central Valley Rams, California Warriors, Solano Ravens, and the Woodland Wolfpack are no longer with the NCFL. Of that group only the Wolfpack ended it's short term tenure voluntarily. The five exiting teams held a collective season record of 13-37
The NCFL is a true AAA league
PCFL (new league)
the teams from the NCFL removed and the past season CSAFL have seemed to take a step towards the past, while in late 2008 wanting to merger and create the WCFA, have actually joined together now to create a new league Pacific Coast Football Alliance.
another season with not all teams under one roof is a another tough blow for the norcal landscape of football, we at the Trojans wish both leagues to be on firm ground and hope in later dates that all teams could be under one perspective roof. until then best of luck to both leagues!
The Trojans have now sent their informational packet to the NCFL and in their beliefs of wanting the top teams would hope the NCFL could or would accept the Trojans as in the past 3 years we have been division champs and or in the play offs since the Trojans inception into minor league football. With one of the top teams to draw fans and players and be competetive in their format.
DEFINITION AS REQUESTED BY SPONSORS AND FANS
